Terms and Conditions
Last updated: August 27, 20261. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the AMC Recalls website (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
2. About AMC Recalls
AMC Recalls is an independent study resource created to help International Medical Graduates (IMGs) prepare for the Australian Medical Council (AMC) Part 1 exam. It is operated on a non-commercial basis by private individuals based in New Zealand.
AMC Recalls is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise connected to the Australian Medical Council (AMC) or AMC Ltd. All AMC-related trademarks and names belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe the subject matter of this Service.
The recall questions provided on this Service are original questions written by our team, based on topics reported by past candidates. They are not copies of actual AMC exam questions, and we make no representation that any topic covered will appear in a future sitting.
3. Use of the Service
The Service is provided free of charge and does not currently require account registration or signup. We reserve the right to introduce account registration, access controls, or other features in the future, including if necessary to prevent misuse of the Service, and will update these Terms accordingly if we do.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful, personal, non-commercial study purposes.
4. Intellectual Property
All content on the Service, including recall questions, explanations, blog articles, graphics, and the AMC Recalls name and logo, is owned by the operators of AMC Recalls or their licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws, unless otherwise stated.
You may view and use the content for your own personal exam preparation. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, or otherwise exploit any content from the Service for commercial purposes, or share it in a way that circumvents the free access we provide, without our prior written permission.
5. No Guarantee of Results
The Service is provided for educational and study purposes only. We do not guarantee that using AMC Recalls will result in a passing score on the AMC Part 1 exam or any other outcome.
While we aim for accuracy, we do not warrant that the content is complete, current, or error-free. You should verify important information independently and refer to official AMC materials for authoritative guidance.
6. Acceptable Use
When using the Service, you agree not to:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its underlying systems;
- Use automated tools such as bots or scrapers to extract or reproduce content at scale;
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Service;
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity;
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
7. Third-Party Links
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or resources, for example other study platforms mentioned in our blog. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party site. Inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by New Zealand law.
Because the Service is supplied free of charge and is intended for use in connection with your professional qualification and career, we intend that the guarantees in the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 do not apply to your use of it. Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any rights you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986 to the extent those Acts apply and cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by New Zealand law, the operators of AMC Recalls shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or exam outcome, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you is limited to resupplying the relevant content or, where that is not reasonably possible, to NZ$100.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operators of AMC Recalls from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the Service or your breach of these Terms.
11. Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or discontinue access to the Service, in whole or in part, at any time, including in response to misuse, abuse, or breach of these Terms, without prior notice.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree that the courts of New Zealand have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Service.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent changes. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
